I'm usually one of the first people on here to discredit Taeja's wins, but in that series him and Serral absolutely played at a close level. Taeja was on fire and Serral's ZvT wasn't as mapped out as his other two matchups. Every Zerg was struggling against Terran in that tournament and TaeJa "consistently" won two games in which Serral insisted to go for pre-buff Ultras; I guess Serral wouldn't have proceeded to sweep Bunny and win the finals against Inno if he were at TaeJa's level(coincidentally, he preferred GGlords). It's hard to assess anything properly if you take single series in consideration, Solar beat TaeJa and Inno beat Solar convincingly, how could Serral struggle against TaeJa by this logic? TaeJa played a great series against Serral and he was in a deceivingly good shape, but definitely not at the same level Serral was. | ||
