I was thinking the same. rematch curse if he faces Rogue again. But I honestly think Leenock has a chance against Fantasy and he will defeat Rogue. Rogue is dropping hard this year.

well now they hard counter everything specially coupled with WP micro

then maybe a slight number nerf would be more than enough, anything, but making units good versus specific unit types

The issue with warp prism micro is that there is no way to micro against it. It's a one sided interaction, where protoss controls everything and zerg controls nothing.

the current PvZ meta is pretty much the LotV economy version of 7gate/8gate from HotS

Also revelation... Can't prevent it, can't get rid of it when it happens, can't really minimize it, lasts an eternity, can't do anything about it.
They should just nerf the warpin ability from the warp prism a little bit so it is not instant-reinforcement at the battlefield. I mean it is absurdly powerful at the moment

Maybe if Warpprisms had the same warp-in speed as pylons by themselves? (i.e. slow)

I would say protoss players would cry out of this world about this change but really anything like +2-3 seconds would already be quite big and would give other races more time to react.

It's Leenock, he cheeses like 95% of the time, so Rogue can only blame himself, I think Leenock going through is good for Fanta cos I think Rogue would beat him in the rematch
Rogue cheesed so many people out of the GSL with nydus allin, it feels fantastic to see leenock give him a taste of his own medicine, plus it's great news for fantasy's chance of making ro16

Because there are people that get snobbish about cheese and feel that there is somehow a right way to win games. If you win within the limits of the game it counts.

Actually also wondering about that. How do you not see that when it's in vision and not moving?
The observer tried to mimic Rogue's POV (or did he actually follow his camera view?) that if his camera was centred on hatch, it wasn't in his vision (but it was on the minimap.) Not very surprising considering how tilted Rogue looked after G1, he was probably going crazy in his head and not paying attention to spines in his base

I know it's not on his main screen. He sees it once his exctractor finishes, because of building range.
I'm talking about the mini map. What else are you doing in the first few minutes of the game if not thinking about proxies/cheese, i.e. watching your god damn mini map?
Wow, Rogue is seriously broken. Did he just give up mentally after another GSL RO8 loss? He cant seem to win a game since then. 2 Jinair best players eliminated in RO32, that is also something we dont see often. Something does not feel right there atm...

Beating yourself up, being angry, thinking you're one game away from elimination, feeling like shit cause you lost to a drone pull, etc
fantasy please, thats literally what leenock does to win, I swear a smart player like Mvp would go infinity - 0 vs this, instead we get maru look alikes that get cheesed by obvious cheesers.

fanta had a very low scv number, also known as the jjakji syndrome : micro like a god, have very nice tactics, but die because you didnt make scvs. Thankfully Leenock can't play late game.
Leenock is devastated while Fantasy has won another OSL judging by his excitement; he should be the first gamer advancing to ro16 in Code S after coming back from the army, to say the truth.

Well to be honest Leenock played like a bronze scrub and still almost won once he got to the GGlord infestor viper comp...
he was never really that close to winning, the reason he was winning some frontal fights is because fantasy had armies taking out bases on the other side of the map which is how you fight brood lord ultra. fantasy microed his lategame better and therefore won. im not sure where you see leenock "almost winning"
btw don't forget fantasy was far behind in the midgame even with leenock macroing badly
The game was over the moment Leenock overextended his broodlord and lost his anti air. Very sloppy from both sides but Leenock's mistake were more glaring in the late game, as expected. Good to see Fantasy qualifying, but I think we can safely say he won't make it in the ro8 this season.

leenock almost won the game too, there was one very dangerous moment when fanta had very little and Leenock had overwhelming numbers of broods, fanta would've died if Leenock kept going but I think he was afraid of mines and vikings hiding and turned back.
I think Fanta is more than capable of a ro8 at this point, just needs a bit of luck with his group.

Still got 3 more chances for a Jin Air player to make it out. Would be ironic if sOs also bombs out and only Cure and Trap qualifies for the ro16. As the big three of Jin Air falls off.

No kidding, what the hell happened to him. I have even seen him in an online league, going 0-5 in a group of 6, or something similar
No idea, seems like Hurricane crushed his soul. Rogue won his last series three weeks ago, after that he is 0-7 in bo3 and even went 1-1 in Xiaose's Proleague dropping a map to Wanted...
Oh, FanTa. I'm so proud of you. Today I was preparing for the worst, to finally have tell you that even though I love you, I needed to end our relationship. But then you did it. You proved that you're willing to deal with your commitment issues, to take the step to being something more than just a swole body to me, and go to the ro16 together. So take my hand babe. Take me to bed and show me that GG timing. I'm sorry I ever thought about leaving you.
So the question is who are the favourites for this GSL? Classic, Stats and Dark seem the big ones so far with maybe Innovation and TY as other possible victors. That is if Inno knows how to win a TvP.

Right now I would put my money on a Protoss, e.g. Stats and Classic. We'll know more when TY and Dark played
Fantasy played pretty great. He just needs to pick up on the blink meta quicker. Is the solution a bunker in the main or something like a turret on the edge to repel the observer? Terrans need to work this out or they can't 1/1/1 while making very few units as they tech up. Protoss will just punish it.

Don't worry, it's not season 3, Inno has no power. So far Classic seems like the guy to beat but we'll see how things develop. There's so much potential now that Maru is out and done making super easy Ro16 groups.
Mildly surprised Leenock lost to late game to Fantasy's bio. Leencok's beaten better players, he seemed a bit lost. Definitely the 2 right players advancing today.

Are you sure? If you ask me he was misreading the situation he was in in pretty much all macro games, couldn't close out games properly and looked lost in late game. Also got lucky with his build against Rogue in his second game.
He played great for someone who had a long break, but I don't see him advancing any further.
