What did the finals peak at last year?

57k. We should smash that, but it's hard to predict considering the sheer hype of the Katowice Major in CSGO. Heck, I'll be watching Liquid during that myself.

Well, WCS Winter NA had nowhere near this much lag and it was online competition with players halfway across the world from each other.

It's bad PC hardware that's wrecking these games

Ah, how do we know that? So then we blame tournament organizers? Though I'd still blame activision-blizzard for forcing PC1 to sync to pc2.

well the internet is big and lag is difficult to predict, which is why it makes no sense to not have a LAN mode.

Most likely the game stuttering and slowdown is caused by the observers running on slow PC's. The game can only run as smoothly and fast as the slowest hardware in the game, even in an observer position.

It was a Zvp finals last year, and a rough 4-0, we should smash it easily, even more with a TvZ

Yeah a decent number of csgo fans will be checking the stream during the finals.

CSGO major final is a big deal, a lot of people will be checking the sc2 final to see when it will start.

Granted they aren't real fans, but I'd expect the views to go up anyway

It is not on the same stream though. ESL might host the SC2 stream who knows.

zerg doom drops are cool, but a lot of games where they happen end up being "is protoss ready with a perfect army split? if yes, game continues. if no, gg" which is not really the most exciting thing as a viewer

they are playing on a mod that makes the skins not show up for the players so blizzard can shove their horrible skins down our throats without affecting the players.
