Serral is playing like a god. Looked a bit like he was playing with his food there but it's understandable, he was being really safe. Felt like some positional chess game where someone like Karpov takes more and more of the board and suffocates his opponent.

That's a fair point. Touche.
I root for Euro Zergs, NA Protoss* and Korean Terrans. (Any North American who has beat a Korean Pro as Protoss counts as NA Toss)

A Korean being out multi-tasked by a foreigner...never thought I'd see the day.

Dark was way too behind, that didn't help either, he was desperatly looking for a damage to do with inferior army.
I imagine France should be able to take this unless Lilbow is busy practicing for Starcraft III. | KadaverBB is my fairy ban mother.

I honestly wasn't worried for Serral on this side of the bracket. I think his ZvZ is his best matchup.

Don't forget transition into useless mutas into trying to compete with roach ravager against lurkers.

Those parts were actually really good and what brought him into a playable position.

Were they, really? Mutas felt like a waste of near 1k gas and the roach-ravager max up against lurkers looked like Maru trying to proxy sOs.

mutas and ravagers got him map control over Serral to dig out of the tech and economy shithole he was in.
Mass avagers are actually amazing vs lurkers, if you have the necessary macro and micro (and Dark is one of the few players who do).

Dark seems to suffer from harassment, he doesn't split his forces efficiently like other top players might in similar situations...

Well, you have to make that Nydus play an epic fail in the first place like Serral did

Dark and Serral seem pretty evenly matched, will be interesting to see if game 3 plays out from a completely even game at the start.

I've seen this style post several times here already. I didn't realize Serral was starting with extra workers at the start of the game.

I'm speaking generally though, like this is quite visible when he streams as well.

Nop, Dark was way too behind and he was trying to get equal. never made it.
