Let's be honest if the games were long it would have just been a 9 hour broadcast. I don't think the breaks were specifically to keep in on track. All the more reason for bo5 matches. But today was all 2-0s so it wouldn't have made much difference anyway | ||

The studio atmosphere is really dull, 8? friends gathered to talk about starcraft just like the 8 years before. No fresh air with new formats, very surface level talk on the "round table" the hub for deep talk in theory. (Whats do you think about player x, oh i think he has some kind of chance to win this am i right Y, goes to next caster.) Remember the weather man from earlier starcraft events, talking about a map specific thing we should look for on a big screen (example: where does maru place his hidden buildings usually) Just more of the same, doesn't feel like a grand final to me. In the first 1-2 hours you could hear the air conditioner buzzing over the mic`s when zooming out of the play area, nothing was going on besides 2 players starring and hiding behind a screen for some time. I usually don`t look at game time vs talk/ads but in the first 2 hours we got 24 min of game play. We had amazing production quality in the past, other games stepped it up huge times especially league/cs go/dota seems like we skipped all these years :/ | ||
