First, he didn't have immortals when the shield batteries were up. He didn't scout properly that Maru was gonna commit with his proxy so his shield batteries were a bit late, he almost held tho. You can be pretty screwed if the protoss reacts better as a terran doing this build with the factory proxied because it's a big commitment. It worked out for Maru yet his defense wasn't super easy afterwards, so imagine if you don't do enough damage or get scouted early: you are dead. | ||
