Well whoever wins gets a TvP maybe Maru can find some sort of cheese that isn't a 40 minute mech game like GuMiho would do xD

Well Maru has played better overall wouldn't you say, and Gumi has mainly found success with an interesting mech build that nobody will be surprised by in the next round, or am I wrong?

You can't judge Gumiho based on how he looks in previous groups. Gumiho's games are ALWAYS chaotic. He loses to worse players. beats better players, base trades, uses weird rushes that shouldnt work but do, gets bopped by rushes that should never work. He's chaos. He can win the whole tournament or he can lose to 2 proxy reaper builds in the next series. Anything is possible with him.

I wouldn't say Maru played better, no. GuMiho actually put up a fight against Classic. As for their matches against Dear, I feel like it was mostly Dear playing terribly in the first series more than anything else. Maru in general is just very predictable and it's gonna bite him in the ass if he gets to the ro8.
