@Durnuu

On your third point, I STRONGLY disagree. Byun proved the Kespa thing was a myth. Jin Air has had that support all year, they haven't until this moment won anything all year. Where the hell is Cure? Is Trap a top three Toss? $o$, is he top three Toss at the moment?

Is Maru top Terran? Is he realistically any better than say, aLive right now? Or Gumiho? Or TY?

No it's not the PLAYERS that did it, it was HOW they practiced, meaning they'd didn't have to worry about anything in LIFE BUT Starcraft. And they would play what, 12 hours a day? No one else save a adolescent has that much time to just play, not even a high school kid, ( see Neeb and Serrall here..)

No, mass games vs all comers/ all play styles > practice vs a few players with a FEW play styles. In my opinion.....

I was hoping for non-stop starcraft today. But I guess IEM has to end early afternoon local time because Chinajoy would be closing soon.

Yeah, ByuN proved me wrong when KeSPA teams started to die. KeSPA proved me right for 3 years prior to that.
If anything, Rain proved me wrong with his GSL win, but not ByuN.

So herO lost 4 games in a raw after the dance? That's the traditional herO I know.
I think if he stops to dance before the final game, he can even beat sOs and be the best Protoss ever.
Also congrats to Rogue for his first offline champion.
sOs is THE ONLY player I pay attention to

Excellent, very nice to see Rogue win and live up to all the recent hype. Congratulations to him for getting his first trophy.

herO losing is just an extra bonus, always glad to see him lose to a cleaner player.

Possibly the hardest tournament besides of GSL and no blizzcon ticket for the winner, what an upset. Look at how hard Rogue's journey was, compare to Elazer and Neeb when they earned their tickets.

Didn't Maru won a starleague in the middle of the kespa era while being on Prime?

Great point on Rain, I forgot him, but his play style and skill got him that title. Stats plays kinda similar IMO, and he's SUPER consistent, I really don't think the KT thing is the reason, exibit; Zest.

I remember proleague games from a couple years ago where Wolf was thinking Stats was top Protoss, hell, Artosis STILL thinks Zest is the best, lol....

No I capitalize for emphasis, why do people instead of engaging in convo always say some goofy snarky nonsense?

I was posting just a week or so ago how a good Zerg stops reapers easy. I saw this coming.
(Edit: Byun beat Rogue 2-0 Ssl challenge first week, so he SHOULD HAVE BEEN READY, how the hell do you die to that if you see it coming? And you MUST see it coming, it's fuckin Byun, lol...)

I got no discourse, just no, reapers are unbeatable. I don't even get the argument that it leaves Zerg behind. I watched TY win a TvZ thirty fuckin workers behind. Vs Dark, for that matter. How are ravager pressure builds less abusive? That hold looked three times as hard to hold than reapers for a Zerg......
If he can hold that, Zerg should be able to handle reapers.....

You really think practicing with Trap or sOs 10 hours a day prepared Rogue for hero, or constant ladder play? Serious question here......

Okay enough, I said my peace, congrats to Rogue, really looking forward to his GSL performance going forward....

I didn't say they have anything to do with each other either, I'm saying so far neither of them has been achieved by herO because of the dance, maybe. But herO is the best Protoss dancer ever for sure.

wtf g-2-da-mah-fckn-g rogue

and he didnt suddenly break down in the finals as so often with hyped players. i was so mad when he kicked out dark, thinking "once again the worse zerg eleminating the better zerg in a zvz just to lose the next cross race match". how wrong i was.

so well deserved, today rogue was on FIRE!!!

Rogue is without a doubt the best player in the world right now. I knew he was going to win it, and embarrassing the most disgusting cheeser toss in the process thats just a fabulous sight! ) No Toss can touch this guy now.
He even improved his ZvT a lot. Now I honestly think that the only player that can stop him is soO in a ZvZ. Hope the sexy boy will continue crushing it and we will see him at Blizzcon, winning the things instead of sOs Go Rogue !

If Rogue keeps up his current form, I like his Blizzcon chances
