The XII Season of the Intel Extreme Masters had its first stop with StarCraft II announced, in just a few weeks we will be going back to Shanghai, to play for 7,500 WCS Points and USD 25,000.00. But, before that, we will have to find out the 12 players to join the 4 already invited.

Neeb and other non-Koreans might make it to stage 2 since the Korean scene has been thinned out a lot (16 spots are open and there are not significantly more than 16 top players) and 4 of the top players are already qualified for the main tournament. But I don't like their odds for stage 2 very much..

I'm just naming random players that are weaker than Neeb and will be in the qualifer likely. I'm saying Neeb could potentially beat Zest, Pet, JYP etc and qualify

If we assume that the brackets work as intended (not a safe assumption in practice but for argument's sake) the best 10 players in Korea (excluding 4 seeds) will make it through. The question then, is whether Neeb is one of them, and I'm inclined to say no.
Off the top of my head, I would put at least these 14 (in no particular order) above Neeb:
