HYPE! I was just about to create a topic for this but You was faster xD MaNa!!!!!
Great lineup. Cheering for Serral as usual.
Hype! Gonna be a sick tournament, let's raise some money for HSC!
Let's go Neeb and Snute, hoping for good performances from the both of you!!!! A big fan as always
Thanks for making the thread
Dennis are you gonna cast as well?
I think it's usually NarutO on the TakeTV account. But yeah Dennis will join the cast around 6pm and will cast a lot this weekend .
Gumiho vs Stephano is pretty hype match. I hope we'll see mech play.
Wow ByuL really? Your baneling bust gets cleaned up by DTs, giving you all the time in the world to react, but then when DTs show up you don't have any spores and lose your natural? It almost fucking happened again, in the same game. Grow a brain ffs.

Absolutely, you must be drowning in it anyway! Neeb vs Lambo rematch should be cool. Let's see if Lambo came up with a way to punish Neeb going to over 70 workers faster than the zerg every game.

This DnS guy can't handel the pressure of game 3 it seems. Giant mistakes were made.
TLO on the stream. Dennis talking about old times, how TLO had bad building placement in BW and almost joined Alternate when Dennis managed it, but then he joined TL instead .
DnS unfortunately needs to forfeit his match. So MaNa vs TruE is a deciding match.

Yessh, that group C is nasty. Could see ByuL going out of that even if he was there offline.

Group C is imba. Snute and ByuL got 2nd place in the first groups so here we are. I'm sure Serral can do it.
On May 06 2017 09:50 ZigguratOfUr wrote: So MajOr and TRUE have already started their post-high-tournament-finish slump?
MajOr was more like tired / giving no fucks. For me (NarutO) that was pretty said. I told him it will be an acceptable time to play and it was 10.30pm. I realize its not early but also not in the night. It wasnt possible to have everyone in Korea play first since there were multiple players. TruE had to play at 4am - was too late so DnS got a walkover. I made the mistake to think TruE was in NA but he was in KR to renew visa. So my fuckup I dont blame him neither for being late even though I obviously have to give a WO at some point nor for his performance when its early morning. I try to avoid schedule issues with players but its not easy. For example Kelazhur dropped out of groupstage 2 since he is not in the ROOT house and cant play at 3-4am which is a bad time but since he has a Korean in it - it will be a bad time for someone no matter what. Here again I dont blame him but its unfortunate
No need to justify yourself Silvano. As a watcher i had a great time yesterday and am looking forward to todays casting and games - keep up the good work!
Does Group C have a starting time? Would not want to miss it.

I don't think the playstyle is bad per se, it's just that when you know it's coming you can build a composition to beat it. And the few terrans there are in the WCS circuit mostly play their own style rather than adapting heavily to the opponent's.

I'd take it. At least ground units can do something against tempests unlike carriers.
Yeah. Also when tempests fight tempests you can tell what the fuck is going on.
That was pretty close. With another 100 supply of stalkers and HTs Showtime could have won that fight.

What are the odds this game is only still going to make it more painful for GuMiho?
What is this mass voidray every game bullshit
How the hell did blink stalkers beat void ray/immortal?! Admittedly archons are pretty good against them, but there were only a handful of them. Even with an economic advantage I didn't believe.

Its Neeb. Every Matchup only 1 BO till death do them apart.

I think it was because the voidrays were super out of position and when they finally got there the stalkers were one-shotting them
Pylons killing each other in Neeb's main base, what a match-up

That sounds like too reasonable an explanation. I'm pretty sure it's because Neeb turned his back on the disruptor god.
So Showtime scouts hidden double stargate and his reaction is to take a hidden base and add a 2nd and 3rd stargate of his own What the fuck is this
And another hidden expo from Showtime. Neeb vs Showtime games can get pretty wild. That game they played on Apotheosis (at IEM Shanghai I think?) was amazing.
lol @ the probes transfering
Showtime lost every disruptor off-screen
PvP is such a great matchup.

Yea, it's really evolved as a match-up from the 4gate vs. 4gates back in 2010

I'd take 4-gate vs 4-gate back now if it means carriers disappear from late game PvP forever
Interceptor wars are really easy to follow

Sarcasm I hope? I just want it to be over so we can see some Gumibro.
It took the rematch curse but Showtime finally defeats Neeb when it matters Now for the man of many halves to take the crown gogo Gumi
Really hope you guys are having fun

Oh it's great fun But Neeb vs Showtime was really, really, really weird

the stream could use a little more eating but I am entertained
It's 05:26 in Korea, good morning Gumi
GuMiho with the viking harass
NarutO going crazy is always fun
I haven't seen Showtime's PvT in a while, but this isn't the level I remember it at.

Everyone knows 5:30 in the morning is when Korean Terrans are the strongest in TvP

If a collapsing booth can't stop Gumi what chance does a timezone difference have.

he remembered his series against Gumiho at Katowice and is now tilted.
Gumi is giving Showtime the foreigner treatment

Yeah, it felt like everything went wrong for Gumi in the second game and then it just turned and he won. Felt weird

Agreed. Showtime wasn't ahead at any point.
Still a better performance than Zest had against Gumi.
Gumiho needs to be more smart with the agression, PO will smash him if he continues like this.

Technically only 3-0.

Bad mfer Gumi. Stomping the best foreigners before bedtime
We seriously need more good foreign terrans so that the good Protoss and Zerg can improve their XvT.

Major and Kela have been looking good but the EU region is severly lacking

Yeah and they are in KR anyway which doesn't help the others.
EU always loses their good Terrans to either them running out of passion or deciding to focus on their studies.

How much did they raise for HSC? I heard that it's happening.

Over 15,000 €, which they deemed enough to confirm that HSC is going to happen.

Hoping HSC won't be on top of Assembly, which is on August 3-6.

Nothing completely crazy but really a ton of long macro games. Europeans are way less aggressive than Koreans...
