What is this event? Why me & why now?
If you've been following our stream over the last year or so, I think it is no surprise that when you think Gauntlet, you think fun, liberal use of memery and a whole lot of blaming Bob.
You might also think top tier players, like Byun / Solar / Neeb and a host of others who all took part in some gauntlet action over the last year. Gauntlet champions like Snute, Jaedong, Byun and more have all have all helped us deliver on our primary goal of producing the highest quality SC2 content we can, to the best of our ability..
But this week is on the eve of Blizzcon, and while bobby may be the best observer in the world(save for his over-use of zooms, looking into dead space, missing 96% of the engages, focusing on critters, messing with game speed settings and.. okay nvm he is just bad) we feel like it would be in everybody's best interest to cut back and HAVE SOME FUN.
So you guys are going to play against WESG Americas winner Scarlett, preferably with your best bud in Archon mode, 2 vs 1 (you know, so she has a chance because your bud is "totes throwing the game!") all casted by us!
There is a lot more to add but for the sake of clarity I wont be telling you, just know that we plan to have a LOT of fun, and it wont be as simple as a world class player beating a bunch of noobies!
All the info you need to get in on the fun is down below, we look forward to your beats getting butt :p

In closing, this year and the tournaments Ctone23, BobbyAwesome, Jordong, Myself and the rest of the Gauntlet Crew (I'm looking at you 1xCandyManx1) have been able to bring together have been some of the most fun I've had in StarCraft, ever. It is a joy to set the stream live and see the regular and new people alike join into the chat and enjoy what were doing, thanks for making it all worth while!

This sounds like it'd be pretty funny. Maybe I can get one of the skilled SC1 players to play SC2 with me. Would be funny to watch them use units they don't know.

well it did use the legacy archon map, so it had the then revealed legacy changes, so it wasn't horrible irrelevant.

That will likely be the case with a lot of people, tomorrow both here and on reddit I will announce a chat lobby for everyone to meet up 30 minutes before hand and we will pair some folks early so they can get a strat down :p

Sorry i couldnt make it for this. I had work. But yesterday on my cast i put a bounty on scarletts head for 50$ if any of my viewers beat her. I think the short notice probably stopped any of them from getting on though. I hope everyone had fun.
