I haven't watched or played sc2 for almost 3 years between 2011-2014. And I am only talking about bo5 or 7 in offline premier tournaments. Not about bo3 or online.(ByuN beated Dark 2-1 in bo3 recent GSL, and in online tourny Dark even lose to random code B terrans) But, I know TaeJa vs Dark was March 2015, which is right after TaeJa's peak 2013-2014, and TaeJa was still beating soO and INnoVation in bo5 and went 2-3 vs Life in blizzcon in late 2014 so it doesn't affect too much of his skill up to early 2015. In 2015 TaeJa was just a guy who struggled to qualify for GSL/SSL. He did way better this year than in 2015.
