Stats beats snute then snute beats stats? That would be a comeback and a half

It happens but it's not the kind of thing can you predict to happen lol

Btw, if you want to read about the event check out Nerchio's Facebook fan page for small stories like this:
So today was the second day of my trip to US but actually the first day where we had something planned for the day. I have to say my first impressions of Burbank are not the greatest, it seems to be a town where not much is happening. On the other hand we get along quite well with other Starcraft 2 players so it's hard to be bored. We could set up our computers today so we all did what was neccessary. Nobody really practiced that much because we are still tired after travelling yesterday. I wish I had some photos to show you but unfortunately we are not allowed to take pictures of the practice area or anywhere in that building so I can't show you my footage. I also had a photo session where they told me we have to do the same stuff twice - one with my Red Bull cap and one without. They weren't sure if sponsors like that are allowed but I told them it's unfair if they want to do that. It looks more like a miscommunication on their part so I think everything is going to be fine.
He had to do every photo twice :D.

He was probably gold before the separate race MMR got introduced.

Here's some more comedy.
![[image loading]](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CvoZjT1UsAA6w2g.jpg) WTF TRUE?
Although this graph is kinda wacky. TRUE has played a bit less than half as many matches as TY and Stats but the graph makes it look like he's played one eighth or so.

Yeah, saw this. Crazy! The guy wasn't even really active for the most part while waiting for his visa and here he is.

And something like a third of his offline games are from Cheesadelphia.

This stuff happens quite a lot in this format and I want Snute (or Drogo even though it'll be hard because he had little time to prepare) to upset Stats.

It doesn't happen super often though. When there is a loss into win in the GSL group format, more often than not it's the favourite losing the first match and coming back to win, rather than the opposite.

Does anyone know about Ro8 rules?
Is it Group A vs Group D / Group B vs Group C
or Group A vs Group B / Group C vs Group D?
or nothing has been decided yet?

Actually this season of GSL it happened in 5 out of 8 Ro32 groups, that was pretty silly.

I would have liked to see that game poor platinum player

Dark and Stats, then Neeb and Patience. Hype!

I think you counted every reverse win, not just the ones where the favourite lost in the end. That happened twice in that case (unless Dream was viewed as a favourite over Ryung? I don't exactly remember)

I'm gonna miss so many matches due to work

Favorites are often a matter of opinion. Between RagnaroK and TaeJa, who was the favorite? Was it TaeJa who had just announced his retirement, or RagnaroK who we never really see much but we know has good ZvT? Also depending on how the first series looks, sometimes people don't stay the favorite I think. It's kinda ambiguous.
Man it sucks we have to wait another day for the games to begin.
