My life lately is pretty shit so maybe it makes it easier to create high points in it ... | ||

If you enjoy the games you enjoy them, i am not really enjoying it more/less just because other people think otherwise. Just because i am saying the game quality wasn't there (which is a fact imo) doesn't mean that you cannot still like the games, different standard/priorities and stuff. | ||

Especially the "I feel no hype whatsoever" at the start turned me off. After the games you can criticise how you want but constantly saying during the games how shit the finals are is pretty depressing. | ||

I enjoy experiencing things with other people. Things are more fun in groups imo. It's more fun when the group is having fun, and less fun when the group is being negative. However since I was in discord with my team, I had a very pleasant experience. Also, I agree that the game quality wasn't the best. However I still enjoyed it because byun just has a fun style. | ||

I don't think it's about being good at the game, i am not good either :D It's just different priorities i guess. Usually a good game for me has to include that it's back and forth gameplay. Lots of army trades, harass, etc I don't even need the lvl of play to be flawless from both players, as you said usually games are decided by mistakes and sometimes crappy games are the most entertaining. (still usually the games are still close in this case) The only other situation where this isn't needed for me to enjoy it is if i really, really care about who wins the game. A Zest cannon rush (  ) can be very tense for me personally and thus make it enjoyable, other people might not have the same experience there. I guess if a game is just extremely unorthodox it can be enjoyable as well (maybe game one today kinda applies for this, but not really imo) Maybe i am just tired of sc2 in general? It's no secret that i am not the biggest fan of certain design decisions. Could be the case tbh. Tastosis are another topic, i actually think them casting together doesn't work anymore for me. I like them both, but i think the casts are way better when they are split up casting with some other caster. GL in real life btw, hopefully nothing too bad! | ||

I don't like sOs but I don't mind ByuN at all, and I usually enjoy watching sOs lose. Plus these two should have been able to force great games out of each other. But game wise I consider this one of the worst GSL finals in a long time. I still overall really enjoyed it and I'm glad I didn't decide against watching it (I was seriously considering it yesterday), though I did decide on muting Tastosis in favor of listening to music. The only bad feeling I have left from this GSL final is that ByuN and sOs didn't manage to produce a single game I'd rewatch for my entertainment, only games I'd watch to steal builds or reactions to builds. | ||
