So effectively Cyan just promised to show good games for the fans, right?

So it turned out that none of them had any specific plan for this map, so why did they want to play it in the first place?

I think everyone else is surprised at that, pretty much everyone is expecting New Gettysburg.

I don't understand why this tournament is elligible to WCS points. Normally there's a relative balance between america, europe and rest of the world in WCS tournament. This one is totally for AM region. The format is more than bizarre. Moreover, this tournament is the last chance to win a place at blizzcon.
This could have been the epic last fight to get to olympia, this is just a 2nd zone tournament with lot of easy money for Showtime.
I'm watching it only because there's no SC2 to watch today beside this one.

what? Just read the liquidpedia page. Your statement is just simply not true.

I think this topic has been discussed to death. No one is arguing these players are code s level. Blizzcon is not the tournament where best players duke it out. All players will represent their countries/regions there.

these players may not be korean (except hydra) but they still are some of the best in the world..
any of these players, except maybe 1 or 2 of them, are capable of giving great bo5/bo7 or even winning it vs the absolute top koreans

the translation is basically bullshit.
but a foreign Chinese speaker, still impressive.

And that is not a shabby translation AT ALL.

For a Mexican it's pretty damn good, at least the basic vibe are there, and no big mis-interpretation.

It remains to be seen how they match up at all. Could be much closer than everyone is thinking, could be much more one-sided. Answers will be revealed soon™.

The first two questions are quite accurate, for the last he actually said "I'm a dedicated/pure person so I have a very clear goal which is standing on the highest stage of Blizzcon and I'll fight and improve for that". His answers are a bit complicated for a non-native speaker but the translator did a very good job.

Serious question though: I don't veto the map, because I go just 13/12 into banes here and I don't think I ever lost. But that's diamond league. Is it equally pro-Zerg in real SC2, or do Zergs hate is as much as everyone?
