With the format of these small 16-player tournaments, for the better players the first round is a non-contest usually, so the quarter-final will be their first game. Win that and they're into a Semi. Deep run completed with easy money in the bag. Polt sleep-walked into the semis of DH Tours with really bad ( relative to his usual) play yet pocketed a cool 10K. Competition too easy or is there a need for a lower bracket? Polt had one of the easiest brackets tbh. Same with Violet. The biggest issue is the foreign scene isn't quite deep enough to make really really hyped 32 man brackets. However, I think it's slowly changing as more NA players get into the spotlight and a couple sea players seem to be getting better too so there are less easy slots like Iaguz often is or PilliPilli or Bails. The first has a horrible mentality self admitted and PilliPilli and Bails are still coming into their own, but have had their moments in online events | ||
