Yup, it was great. And there'll be one every month. Hopefully they keep the same momentum.

Great event. I like the format a lot. I hope it wasn't too unbearable for the Koreans to play at 3-5 AM though. A global scene has its drawbacks.

their schedule is usually playing until 3-4am and the next day wake up at 11more or less, they are used to play that late

From what was explained each player was given a time to be around, so some like Maru and Solar may have got a chance to nap earlier

Polt playing well, foreigners giving Koreans a hard time, INnovation winning games, 30k viewers on a SC2 stream, 100 pages on a LR thread. I don't know what was in the air tonight but for sure unusual things were happening. One of the greatest SC2 days ever, reviving some good old times vibes.

Huge shoutouts to TB / Blizzard / Kespa for making such an amazing tournament happen. Incredible format, fun games, good casting, everything was incredible. And I hope the lesson is learnt and that we'll get a lot more foreigners / Koreans interaction in the near future.

I don't want to be the party pooper but i think today was as succesful and exciting BECAUSE we don't see a lot of korean vs foreigner anymore. I hope the next one will have the same numbers (or better), but in the long run i am not sure if that's realistic.
Surely one reason we have it once a month and not every weekend (ok money probably the bigger reason for this)
The novelty factor is the most important part here.

once a month is pretty good I think. I hope they can ride the amazing momentum they generated today.

I think it will retain its novelty factory because it is the only regular form of competition between super high level players from every region while still being "only" once a month. Especially if TB can keep delivering the big names, which I'm sure he can, this should continue to be a success.

It's not like there's any serious competition to this event (in SC2) that would steal viewers.

Yeah it will keep the novelty factor somewhat, but today was still the first day which i would expect to have the best numbers.
But yeah i don't think this will fail or anything, about 20k each time should be doable i think.
Let's just hope that TB really gets Kespa players each time

Well with the current look of things he shouldn't have too much trouble getting players from Samsung, MVP or CJ, most of them have nothing to play in. For the others I guess it just depends on the schedules for the rest of the year.

Huge thank you for everyone involved, was amazing to follow even tho I was there only since Stephano - herO unfortunately.
Nice cast as well as usual from OG, Koka TKL and imre today.

I don't think the first one will have the most viewers, some people will recommend this event to their friends and even more people will join the train

This event was really amazing, the tb x nat cast was great and ... well I barely have words for how much I enjoyed this one. The most fun I've had watching sc2 in quite a while, only PL rivals this in entertainment value.

So many thanks to TB(and everyone behind the scenes) for putting in the effort for this and to Blizzard for sponsoring it with price money. Really grateful to everyone that made this possible, sad Maru got knocked but the games were so good I don't even care.

It's really awesome that they were able to get so many of these top-tier players. Seeing Koreans play against foreigners is really rare now.

Hell, outside of the 3 KR tournaments, seeing any Koreans play is sort of gone, so I loved it.
Also Innovation won.
