I thought the day was fun. I ask myself: 1 - Are these players a world better than me? Yep. 2 - Is the event organized, well run, good communication? Yep. 3 - Good casters? Know the game? Yep. If SC2 or eSports in general continue to grow then you'll have tiers of players. And if the games are only fun to watch when the best of the best are playing, that speaks more to the health of SC2 than the players. | ||

I think it's just a vocal minority that just happens to be very well represented on Team Liquid. There's a bit of a reputation of elitism here, after all. Not unexpected. Many of the comments about today's level of play aren't expressing disappointment about how the players aren't the best of the best, but rather how well they played compared to their usual level. For example MaSa played much better at WCS Spring than he played today. | ||
