Ground AOE support is the reason why that comp so hard to beat. The model is so big, it cover HT so well.

Poor journey. Of course, against any good terran, sOs could not use this style as he would be dead before any such army would be done. Good example was I think in the game against Ryung in the Kings tournament.

He used similar build vs. jjakji at IEM I think. IT worked because jjakji scouted it too late. As someone mentioned earlier, Journey scouted it too late.

No no no ... tha jjakji game was different, that was an excellent choice, one of my favorite games ... but that was no tempests, it was just the unexpected use of carriers against bio. And it was in a completely different meta. But he did something very similar against Ryung in Kings of Starcraft, it was a good game, sOs won at the end, but it was not at all one sided as Ryung used the mobility and harrass and kept it for a loooong time very close.

Doesn't matter that there were no tempests, the game was over when jjakji attacked into storm/interceptors and died. If you let Protoss player to build one of the strongest units and don't punish him then it's really late to cry.

Ok, so looking at current table there are 3 teams fighting for last 2 spots: JAGW 3-2 10-8 Samsung 3-3 12-12 Afreeca 2-3 8-10 there is possibility of ties between all 3 teams. My question is how are ties resolved? And as a side question which results of match between JAGW and SKT guarantee Jin Air a playoffs spot?

Ties will probably be resolved by head-to-head score (the alternative being a tie breaker match, but they didn't have those last year). If JAGW wins at 2 maps against SKT they're 100% through. If they win 1 it depends on the tie breaker rules and Afreeca's result.

You ignored Samsung. Jin Air passed Samsung. That means all they have to do is not lose hard enough for both Samsung and Afreeca to pass them. E.g. if Freecs win 3-0 and Jin Air loses 2-3 Samsung is 5th.

Glad to hear that Jin Air do not have win against SKT to advance as it would be hard as hell with SKT current form 2-3 and 1-3 is certainly doable
