Because scheduling/preparing an event like Katowice has to be done in at least 9 months before the tournament and ESL did not know the WCS changes until it was announced. Do not blame them, Spring Championship is gonna be a lot better

Only thing I read from that is Iem spring will be in france and only feature french players.
