It's not JUST gold bases though, the way zerg economy works makes these all ins super powerful on most maps. Gets going so fast (and ravagers factor in as well) that forge/sentries isn't viable. And that's what always held these roach/ling all ins. Straight robo isn't an option, void ray after first oracle holds it but you'd already need to have it scouted to even consider making a void ray. And you can't without suiciding an adept or smth.
