Yeah, about that... I mean he should have been accepted by now. It's been forever since he last talked about it. And in the meantime he's casually attended offline tournaments.

The final against DRG... The iron squid ![]() This man is a legend. Resilience, hard work, and a little bit of luck showing here. So many good memories, also. He is and always will be a part of Starcraft. And a model for everyone to follow ! Good bye ! Strait up, I think he was a part of more epic SC2 memories than any other player. Like I know that that might be the most objective statement in SC2 history but hold on a sec. First he enters the scene by 3 killing Zenex to almost reverse all kill in the first GSTL (If I recall correctly). Then BAM! He and Alicia take down the second GSTL and he has the worlds attention. He defeats MVP in the ace match in an epic battlecruiser battle setting up one of the two biggest rivalries out there. He loses to Polt in the super tournament. Wins that epic MLG. Wins GSTL #3 against DRG in the ace match, setting the stage for the best game of 2011 when he takes down DRG. Not to mention beating MVP in that GSL. And then the fall from grace. Losing to Gumiho (in game of the year 2012) after dropping the manner mules, Gumiho then goes on to all kill Slayers. That GSTL finals coincided with the breakup of slayers. But form is temporary, class is permanent. He came back, and was there with his team for the final GSTL to take home one more GSTL championship. And like you said, WCS EU, reaching global finals against life and one last hurrah now. There wasn't a year where MMA wasn't a part of something iconic in the year. I feel like we're going to look back on this HSC, one of the few Korean vs Foriegner weekend events from here on out and think man, we need to keep those going. Typing that, I feel like if one wrote the story of GSTL through the lens of MMA it would be a hell of a thing.
