Stephano didn't came back stronger, neither did lilbow, neither did ToD, neither did nightend, neither did bunny, HuK.....

Jinro and Huk definitely became beasts in Korea. Early Idra was great too.

Your boys should be able to get there against Major and co. or Bunny and co. we'll see red/white vs orange again in the finals (after we take out Korea for you).

Your posts are so.... Canadian.

Snute destroyed GSL/SSL Tier 1 Champions!

I forgot Snute and Nani / Jinro.
I guess it worked for them indeed.

Lilbow never went to Korea but you're right, most of the time it doesn't work. You could add ThorZain to that list.

HuK for sure came back stronger after practicing in the oGsTL house. Didn't his 2 kills in GSTL come a month or two before the Summer of HuK?

But yeah overall I can't think of other examples. Idra didn't come back stronger, nor TLO, don't think State has improved too much so far as I know either.

I don't think Jinro improved from being in Korea to be honest. I think he hit his peak while there but the improvement was already well under way (he won an MLG before he went to Korea didn't he?)

Yeah actually I think HuK is one of the players that benefited the most from the Korean practice.

HuK gained a lot from being in a team house and practicing with MC, not the usual path.

In September 2010, Jinro travelled to Korea with Liquid` members: TLO and Nazgul in preparation for the GOMTV Global StarCraft II League. Since arriving, Jinro and other Team Liquid members have been staying and training in the oGs House, competing in South Korean live events.

Yeah legit players don't need be good, or even exceptional at cheesy strats like 4 gate (Naniwa), 8 gate (HuK), immortal sentry all-in (Parting), or ...You know what listing MC and his arsenal of all-ins here isn't even fair.

WoL you HAD to be good at at least a couple all-ins as protoss. That's just the way the meta was. Hell, it still helps to have a few all-ins up your sleeve.

Why are the Playoff teams matched with the other team from the same group? Shouldn't they be staggered?
