For Mvp he was known for his incredibly macro and mechanics and accumalted fans (after some time, many people actually didn't like him that much at the beginning), and then he had the aspect of his injuries, so when he cheesed people were thinking about how this amazing player can win despite injuries instead of him cheesing. And for sOs, he was actually hated a lot on for a long time, I still remember reading a lot of hate when he played against JaeDong the way he did in the 2013 Finals (tho I personally loved it), however his story about the 100k dollar man has been hped up a lot, aswell as casters pointing out how weird his style is all the time, so now it is becoming more about the 100k dollar man winning another tournament aswell as: "Look at how weird sOs is WOOOW" instead of him beeing cheesy, atleast in the perception of a lot of people. So yea atleast that would be my explanation of those three guys!
sOs is at least doing some innovative and unusual stuff  That is why some people actually love him. He is cheesy. But he has style.

Not underrating Classic, Life is on top of his game and is still avoided a late game vs him.
"I mean, that Classic is playing safe so i will all in" mentality, not trying to take anything away from any of the 2 for that.

I'm always going to remember Classic as the mediocre Terran who switched to Protoss and suddenly had great results :D
But man, Life really pouring on aggressive builds that everyone says 'dont work anymore' and taking out all the top players. Makes me feel less bad about losing to aggression so often :D

I can't believe at this stage of HotS (and as far as Starcraft has come in general), people are still referring to what just occurred as "BO wins".
If you do not see the brilliance in the decisions Life made leading up to that Game 5 win... the sheer mind game of opening 3 hatch after 2 straight cheeses, then immediately going all in after making Classic focus his attention on the rocks. Genius.
