Dear has been strange in this GSL. He mostly won close series, looking sometimes fantastic, sometimes ridiculous. But if you watch the path he's taken, you've got to be impressed : FanTaSy ; ByuL ; Rogue ; Bbyong ; Classic. 1) just lost a heartbreaking match
2) has already lost vs Dear who is in an incredible streak, with "crafty" play so that no one hypes him too much, and who'll fight for a Blizzcon spot
3) has so far lost 2 very important PvZs this year
so yeah, with the vs Dear match coming up so fast, I really think ByuL's biggest challenge will be Dear. If he beats Dear after being so emotionally beaten up, he's a true champion, and he'll rip apart whichever T he faces in the finals.

I think and hope that ByuL will get over it quickly. Byul doesn't have to go full slump like DRG did, I think he's far better than Dear and will win. We shall see.

I dunno... If ByuL loses to Dear, that's just a, "Damn, I was doing so well and then it all fell apart. Next season I'll do better" moment IMO, whereas if ByuL gets to the finals and loses to INnoVation/Maru, THAT puts us in, "Holy shit what is wrong with me?" territory.

I agree that another finals loss would be even worse than a defeat to Dear.
