He prepared soO for the semifinal with Zest. He prepared him for the final with Zest too and we saw how that turned out soO had that one. If they play the Yeonsu game 10000 times soO wins 9999. honestly I thought soO was pretty lost even when that game was on lockdown for him. Zest had a ton of stalkers and phoenixes and soO no other tech besides mutas, roaches and infestors I think. I think Zest would have killed him before any transition but who knows, maybe SH would have worked
fuck im so angry about that game, fucking yeonsu man

Statistically, I doubt more gas has been wasted in a pro level game as that one. I suppose with a player like soO you need to factor in a certain percentage of potential derp.
I'm not sure how to mathematically calculate that, though

This is an esl/blizzard funded tournament so issues like this should not occur
Isn't esl the one promoting the new drug testing standards? You would think they would have no problems like this which have far more practical effect Are you talking about soundproofing? yes I know nothing about sound proofing but I'm told it is very hard to make headphones or booths "completely" soundproof
Except with the use of white noise in the headphones which I think annoys the players so they don't do that

Is there even a ZvZ build where you'd go mutas, but get lair before speed? seems stupid because if you start speed afterward you're still losing a muta in exchange for the faster spire. i guess you could totally skip speedlings but that's gimmicky I feel obligated to say that once I did that, but that game started with me 6pooling vs 10pool ive done 1 base muta and won on deadwing but even in that game i got speed first I was on 2 bases and like 20 drones tops I think
I also won

I can tell you that Zest should have lost countless times and showed incredible resilience while soO made little mistake over little mistake. Still one of the most amazing games of HotS.
