He did more coaching than SKT staff.

Anyone notice?

Is there even a ZvZ build where you'd go mutas, but get lair before speed?

seems stupid because if you start speed afterward you're still losing a muta in exchange for the faster spire. i guess you could totally skip speedlings but that's gimmicky

It is a bit weird that esports tournaments in 2015 still have issues like this. This is an esl/blizzard funded tournament so issues like this should not occur

Isn't esl the one promoting the new drug testing standards? You would think they would have no problems like this which have far more practical effect

OK I didn't know their connection got so far, I thought he only used builds they discussed about, not that they prepared together.

I mean, when soO goes out of his way to give Catz a shoutout in an interview after he wins, you know he probably did more than just share a couple builds.

Well, maybe not "know," but I think it suggests a bit more than just a couple "Hey, this could be cool."

soO had that one. If they play the Yeonsu game 10000 times soO wins 9999.

I always thought soO was using those Catz shoutouts as a way to get more cool, hyped and likable but yeah you're probably right.

I was trying to get a hold of soO when I was writing Kings of Silver earlier this year and Catz was the go-to guy for getting in touch with him. Don't know if that means anything, but the fact that Catz could get a hold of soO in 15 minutes and the KeSPA rep I talked to had "no idea how to" feels telling.
