I remember there was a online qualifiers for an IEM and it was in EU(NA>KR>EU), and all the koreans who were trying were tired, and there was like a handful of koreans vs 100+ foreiners, and the finals ended up being all kr anyway

It was that Cure vs Snute game if anyone remembers. The gap is a chasm.

Fantasy was flown to Europe to play in it without lag and IEM ended up being his breakout tournament. What a great storyline.

IEM Katowice

Yep. I saw so many "foreign holds" that day, but it was all too soon

Oh right! That's when I first heard of deadpixels. Great team for doing that for Fantasy

Can someone comment on Drogo's playstyle/builds/qualities in his matches today? Couldn't see them

I think that these groups have had flaws from day 1, but it's something that we have to live with.

One day the Koreans were preparing for S2SL when a voice rang out in the team house:
"One Frenchman can take out ten Koreans!"
The coach laughs and sends his team to the foreign tournament. At the end of the day, nobody returns for fear of KeSPA jail.
"One Frenchman can take out a hundred Koreans!"
The coach calls the other teams and they all decide to postpone S2SL to defend their honor. At the end of the day, nobody returns for fear of KeSPA jail.
"One Frenchman can take out a thousand Koreans!"
The coaches recall all the koreigners around the world, even the legendary Polt, ForGG, Hydra and Jaedong are all summoned, Bisu is brought back into SC2, every Korean who's touched the game is selected, and all of them are trained for six months using top secret KeSPA tactics. Their best thousand are selected, and a tournament is organized with the thousand Koreans playing in the bracket with the Frenchman.

And as the Air France plane touches down, the coaches gasp and realize it was a trap. "There's two of them..."

It's the only one played on stage so they have to switch the stuff after every match. But yeah, that takes way more time than it should.

I'm surprised Snute lost to B4. Well, it's nice to see Prime players winning sometimes.
