Revealing the initial groups for the ASUS ROG Summer 2015 StarCraft II Tournament which is ready to kick off next week on Thursday July 30. Also presenting the community streams covering the event in multiple languages.
On Thursday July 30 at 12:00 GMT (+00:00) the ASUS ROG Summer 2015 StarCraft II Tournament starts with a group stage featuring 32 top notch contenders around the world. They will face each other in WCS-style double elimination groups with only half of them entering the second group stage of the tournament. The progress will be quick as the champion will be crowned already on the following day as the playoffs among the top eight contestants take place on Friday July 31. Fortunately, to help us bring you as much of the action as possible, multiple community streams will be covering the games on top of the main stream where you may enjoy the commentary of Chris “HuK” Loranger and Benjamin “DeMusliM” Baker.
Roster changes As we go into the groups, you might notice some changes to the previously announced player lineup. We regretfully have to announce that Mill.ForGG, ShoWTimE, TargA, AT.Jona and cSc.DmC have cancelled their participation to the tournament. Their spots have been filled by Liquid.Snute, prOp.NaNiwa, Fuzer, KRN.Calt and KRN.Namshar.
Group Stage 1 - July 30, 12:00 GMT (+00:00) The first matches are player 1 vs player 4 and player 2 vs player 3.
Each group is played in double elimination format familiar from the World Championship Series. All matches are best-of-3 in the group stages. The top two players from each group will advance to the second group stage which will start approximately at 19:00 EEST on Thursday. All the matches in the second group stage will be streamed. The playoffs will be played on Friday starting at 15:00 EEST.

I think Fantasy will win this glorious Fantasy vs TRUE final

There's a few favorites, but I think overall it's a very even tournament. Should make for a very exciting event IMO! Sadly I've got practice right before a must win game that weekend. Hopefully I can make it for Friday!

Or qualify for things...

Nanigasm
And with a doable group aswell, ftw
|
PtitDrogo and Snute in the same group again fml why does this happen at every event they're both playing in ): Also Lilbow/Ret/NaNiwa is going to be a lot of fun
edit : by the way, in case the OP reads this, would it be possible for Asus to always include the liquipedia link in their OPs about a tournament? Oftentimes it is missing, and it's a pain for lazy people to go and search on LP instead of clicking a link.

Wow those are some really interesting groups. There are some favorites but for the most part these groups should produce some really tight sets.

And that should happen every game.

Dimaga is ukrainian, not russian. This is such an insult to name him as russian while russia annexed part of Ukraine and started war in our country!!!

Doesn't he speak Russian on his stream though? I mean the flag is here to represent the language spoke and not the country of origin of the stream, as evidenced by BTTV having a UK flag next to it while they're not from the UK.

According to Serral's father's tweet Stardust is visiting them. That's at least one Korean that won't be suffering from jet lag.
