I hope he does win though. The shitstorm would be lovely and we need a hero. The Frenchies knew all along. He only didn't win season 1 because he lost to eventual semifinalist ShoWTimE in Challenger! Actually, Lilbow has been considered, along with MarineLord, one of the most talented french players at least since Ogaming created Underdogs. I think it has been a very, very great move by them. I'm very sad Dayshi stopped playing because he was really good. But we have seen Lilbow, MarineLord and Ptitdrogo rise, probably partially thanks to these tournaments. Dayshi played a LAN in Lyon this weekend and beat Drogo 2-0 in the WB final (before losing 3-2 in grand final). Oh great. I stopped watching SC2 during Hots when Dayshi and forGG were crushing Totalbiscuit's team league. I was pretty sure he was going to become one of the very best european terrans, but I thought he stopped playing since I don't see him a lot these days. I didn't know if he stopped playing, partially stopped, or just didn't play tournaments or had a hard time qualifying. On another note, although Ptitdrogo is a really great player with an awesome PvZ and PvP, he has a terrible PvT and I'm not really surprised he lost to a player who don't play as much as he used. It was ATC, not SHOUTcraft
And yeah Dayshi started to play again a few months ago.

Top 10? He's only beat 1 Korean for this tournament, though decisively. Dude haven't you heard? If Lilbow wins one tournament, he's best player in all of SC2/ BW. I mean he did beat Hydra 2-1 in the ro32.

I think he should break top10 though. top10 if he wins. Top5 if he wins and backs it up next season with a Ro4+ I couldn't put him in front of Jinro/Stephano/Naniwa/Scarlett/Huk with just two tournament results. Even if they are as good. I'm not even sure if I'd put him above Idra/Sen/Snute/Bunny yeah that's mostly why I was asking. Sure no one wins premier anymore as a foreigner so it's a big deal, but it's still just 1 tournament Around top 15 I'd say.

seriously though, saying Lilbow is top 10 after this tournament is like saying Stephen Curry is top 10 of all time after this NBA season.
both are young, see where they go.

Honestly, even though I don't agree with him, we have had a few foreigners doing great (HuK, Stephano, Naniwa, Vortix, Snute, LucifroN, Thorzain, Scarlett and even Targa in the end of WoL), but not much just below. Winning a Premier tournament like this one, which such a good showing (not considering the finale, he has only dropped three maps since the beginning of challenger) would rank him very high, even if it's only one result. Especially if he backs it up.

Agreed.
If we're talking about all-time accomplishments when Lilbow is still new, I'd even put him after Thorzain.

by playing standard i don't think lilbow has a chance

I'd say he'd be probably somewhere between 11th-20th. There's still players like Thorzain/Hasu/Mana/Dimaga/Vortix that I still could rank higher than him
