I am mad at myself for not scouting the small hidden building on a huge map, (because, if you get cheesed, of course its your fault, you should have scouted it...), mad of getting outplayed from a player that doesn't give a shit about the game und wants to win dirty, mad that I get outplayed by someone who has only one build for years and I invest so much to understand the game better, micro, macro, timings, scouting... Whenever I have a hard day of work, and just want to play some games and get cheesed out by yet another 40 APM opponent, I get so mad at this whole shit, I already uninstalled the game and didn't play for half a year. But then, I remember it is reminding me that if I rage, it is only because I care. So I play it still, and I still lose to cheese. No matter how hard I scout, even sometimes when I see it.... Raging at these FML things are great, I then see that I don't have bigger problems in my life. Cheap trick? The risk involved is truly huge. It's (most of the time) a high risk, high reward strategy. And in a strategy game, diversity is good. I'm not good enough to make a clear and nice case, but consider that we don't see protoss cheesing every game, so that must not be the super duper choice that makes scrubs win against top tier players. Also, that notion of the "better player" makes me cringe. You should read "Playing to Win" by David Sirlin. He explains nicely that you have to drop any "honor code" when you play a game. The game decides who wins, not your "code", and in this case, the game said "MyuNgSiK" won. Some player are good at offense, some at defense, some at micro, others at macro, some cheese very well, others abuse a unit (lol InCa), others master many different units combination... You can't absolutely rank players, because styles clash, weaknesses/strengths clash. One metric however, works: who wins things, and who doesn't. And at this precise moment, MyuNgSiK won. Sure he doesn't has the titles Life has, sure he didn't won as much. But the trophies apparently didn't help Life in this series, nor did MyuNgSiK lack of trophies prevented him from winning. Oh, and it doesn't matter that protoss has more cheeses or not, and I don't think that's truly the case. Terrans have proxy rax, marines, bunker rushes, reapers, proxy marauders, proxy fact/port (I consider it a cheese), economical cheese (3/4 OC). Zerg has baneling bust, roach baneling bust, fast mutas, proxy hatchery. And that's not even considering those we don't know yet because no one tried/found about it. Some of those work on many maps, some require some specific layout, but just as for protoss cheeses. | ||

He has defeated Dark, SK, Rogue, Losira, Leenock in the last matches and he only lost to byul who is now the best zerg. | ||
