So many old names connected to oGs; MC, Supernova, Ensnare, Inca, Hyperdub, Jookto, TOP, Inca, TheWind, Luvsic, Zenio, NaDa, TheSTC, HerO in the beginning of his career... If just half of these guys would form an oGs team again, I'd freak out.

And that's funny because mass Phoenixes beat mass Vikings from my experience, unless they are massing so they can just target down Colossi before they lose all of their Vikings.
I don't see how the Phoenixes can really protect the Colossi since the Vikings can just target fire. In any moving engagement the Vikings will kill 1 or 2 Phoenixes for each volley. The Phoenixes cannot get too close or they get shredded by Marine fire.
In a direct engagement you just target fire the Colossi and then the Phoenixes are worthless.
The thing is that typically if you commit to phoenix colossus you also commit to +1 air upgrades with that so that the phoenix can be on equal dps with vikings (and not get shredded by the biol ball). This is effective also if the Terran makes too many vikings which then focus on the phoenix rather than the bio army during the engagement (and the bio ball just gets shredded by the colossus with no viking support in addition to the energy from the phoenix which lift up the already smaller bio force. Also the phoenix do a good job making the vikings auto attack the vikings in the fight (if you watch a MyungSik you would know this)
It's not a good build, and is rarely used in Korea because they understand this concept.

Have you ever played mech vs z and had your viking cloud shoot at the mutas and kill exactly 0 of them? It's the same with phoenixes cept they have more range, more health and more damage.

Definitely, was thinking more in the lines of a random Skype call with some other OG foreigners to "cast" some tournament or showmatch, other small stuff like that. It would be amazingly entertaining lol
I forgot to mention the other weakness of phoenix colossus: upgrades. By committing a lot to phoenix you heavily cut your gas income that is normally invested into ground upgrades.
