ok, i guess peoples are gonna defend hard again. I love the part where they say "This action is taken very rarely and is for the protection of all our customers." since they have done this at least 4 times in the last 3 months. To me it seems like the new way to save some cash.... pretty much. they probably fuck up their opening lines and just use it as a bail out. it's getting annoying. like bomber, innovation, or soulkey would be strapped for cash. i highly doubt players of that caliber could make enough money from fixing to risk their career/tournament winnings. How does the betting company lose money by their opening lines being bad? Do you think Creator is a 3-1 favourite on KSS but an underdog in the series vs Soulkey? Or maybe there was something fishy going on. And I assume B4 is the one who would throw here, so Bomber has nothing to do with it. Could use further info though. Like you need to pay B4 for him to lose... It's StarCraft 2. MC lost to SpaceMarine. you mean MC got outplayed by SpaceMarine

oh and B4 selling the game actually does make sense, since B4 losing terribly vs Bomber doesn't look suspicious itself

This ignores the fact that B4 has been terrible for months, Bomber just dominated his Code S group and is clearly back in form, and it's highly unlikely for many people to bet on B4 anyway. Even without any money on the line, only 21% of the Koreans voted for him.
I know. But saying that the betting company does this to save money is just stupid.
I will shut up in this thread for now. Hope we get some more info from the betting company (was it Pinnacle?) and/or bettors.
Fuck matchfixing

sure but you still won't make much money if the line was correct since bomber would be a huge favorite to begin with.

Fair enough, but I think what betters want is to be 100% to make money, without necessarily being big amounts of it. I'm no expert on this field though.
