It's always like this at DreamHack. Few upsets in the first rounds with foreigners beating some koreans. And then there is one round where koreans just obliterate everyone and secure a full KR top 8.

I always enjoy people talking about the German language. They complain about it being harsh and always sounding angry, and then when they're giving an example they're using the most rage filled voice they can muster. We aren't like that at all. Our anger is much more cold and subtle.
I agree. A true German speaking German is actually much more pleasant to listen to than, say, a Spaniard speaking Spanish. German flows very well and calmly when talked correctly.
What is a true German? And be careful, the answer goes into dangerous territory.
"True speaking", not "true German". Let's not go there.
He said True German speaking German.
Interpret it as you like, I see it as "true german-speaking".
fyi I am not being serious
only a German person would have to SAY he's not being serious

MarineKing's English is decent. But I like that they interview Koreans in Korean. If they're not comfortable speaking English and would only give you a bland response because they're scared to say something wrong the interview would be worse.
Also, I cannot help but feel that a Frenchman telling anyone to learn English is very funny.
Because?

Funny, I was just thinking about his "Cookies in the baby room" example. First, no German would ever have cookies near a baby room and that's why the example fails. Second, the way he says it in English is so jovial, the way he says it in German is more the "Honey. We need to talk about something." tone.
Yeah i get that he does this on purpose, but still, the general sound of the language is really somewhat harsh tbh :D
Our country used to be that of the greatest poets at some point. That's got to be worth something.

I can't wait for playoffs to start because the mainstream seriously dropped the ball. Most of the interesting matches in the group stages happened on the community streams. Like right now we have Snute vs Drogo.

"All French viewers surrendered in mere seconds after that speech."
If you knew how many times NarutO used that joke lol

Hey, we got Echo! Coda and Cactus Valley ain't half bad either.
Echo is alright for free 3rd scumbaginess, but it had nothing on SS or Deadwing
The most played maps - Expedition lost, Vaani, Iron Fortress are all very good zerg maps. Even the more favored protoss maps like Echo and Coda are at least playable. (Echo is kind of poor actually)
