I checked, ByuL joined CJ July 31st 2014. That's before the last SPL season finished, so he's not the transfer of this season. More like the most improved player.

I would assume that's what it is. The difference being that Life didn't expect mech on EL and wasn't in a position to really scout the blueflame hellion attack (still deflected it with only lings/queens) while ByuL scouted it both times and went quick mutas anyway.

I figure there's probably a high likelihood that Maru and Byul value the GSL more heavily than this, and they're in the same group for the Ro32, so mindgames probably factored into that series a fair bit.
