Hello Everyone!
Starting May 9th, the largest gaming festival in Southern California will take place, featuring a $3,000 dollar prize pool, for 2v2 and 1v1 StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm tournaments.
The format for both 1v1 and 2v2 will be as follows:
Double elimination bracket
Bo3 until the Round of 8
Bo5 until Finals
Bo7 for Finals.
Prizing:
For 1v1s:
1st Place: $1250
2nd Place: $500
3rd Place: $250
4th Place: $150
For 2v2s:
1st Place Team: $500
2nd Place Team: $250
3rd Place Team: $100

Hey everyone - I'm one of the directors of the event, and this has literally been my dream project for the past 3 years. We're working hard to bring the Dreamhack experience to this North America - a truly massive BYOC gaming experience - 800 Seats, inside a basketball stadium.
And as part of that, we wanted to bring some good tournament prizing in as well, to bring eSports legitimacy, and bring out some great players.
Anyway, I really hope everyone in SoCal will come out, its gonna be crazy awesome, and a lot of fun.

I would definitely recommend coming out to this event! Looks like it's gonna be super hype, and I can't wait to play. I would suggest anyone to come out and grab a seat at this LAN, especially since there's a 2v2 tournament which is pretty rare. I'll let you play LotV on my account if you play in the SC2 tournament (and don't have LotV beta access)

just wondering if anyone else is having issues with prize payout and unresponsive admins? ie. getting only 30% of the actual prize amount with no explanation as to why it's not 100%
