Let's look at some statistics here: In aligulac rating, they are 486 points apart. That is exactly the same difference, that there is between GoOdy and Bomber. One might say, that aligulac rating has certain flaws, like inflation and stuff. So let's look at a more measurable statistic: Prize money earned: Avilo has earned 290$ in his career. GoOdy has earned 29.248$. That is not only 101 times as much as avilo, it is also more than any other NA terran ever made (With two people, one might see as an exception: MajOr and SeleCT, but I view them as LA/korean respectively), earned in the harder region.

One might say, that those earnings come frome another time, back when GoOdy was still able to 2-0 MMA at MLG or to knock out Stephano in the semifinals of a 10k-LAN-tournament. So let's look at a few more recent results: Eizo Fortis Trophy: GoOdy won a Lan this january, in which he defeated uThermal and Gungfubanda in the WB final/Grand finals. Both, uThermal and Gungfu are players, avilo is not expected to take a map from. To go further, GoOdy just made 3rd place in the current EPS rankings and I wouldn't bet on avilo to defeat any of the top 11 players there.

To end my rant: There playstyles are pretty similar, but just by playing like a wannabe-GoOdy, you don't become GoOdy, otherwise everyone would just build a lot of lings and hope to become Life.
