It makes periods of dominance by one player more special that way. But it also shows that there is a lot of skill in Korea, and the region is full of very good players, even if we as viewers haven't realized how good some of them are.

With very few notable exceptions, yes.
Those don't show too much though.
3 games doesn't mean much and Dark is certainly on Maru's level everytime they played
Bbyong is CJ's Protoss sniper.
