Fantasy did well, but Rain wasn't exactly on top of his game. He lost 12 workers to a mine drop because he was microing oracles, for example. And he lost the 3rd game to an 11/11 proxy.

Life is doing a pretty good job so far, but he might just lose a longer game.

I'm just sick and tired of negative casting.
Casters like Apollo and Kaeliris will look at an engagement and say "oh this is bad for x player", "oh what a mistake from this guy", "oh this is terrible", "what a bad move", "this player is in such a bad position". Whereas it's true, it just gives a negative spin to the game I feel.
I much prefer Tasteless' play by play "ah zerg is moving forward now, looking for a favorable engagement", "oh player y is looking to do something with these lings" or "and now player x has managed to get a very good position in this game". In the case of an actual blunder, you hear "oh well that was an over-extension from the [race] player", "player x made a mistake and player y really managed to capitalize on that" or something which sounds a lot more smooth than ESL casters which spend 20 minutes shitting on everything they see.
It's placebo, I know. But jesus I feel like the casting is really negative. Be more positive about what players are doing right.

Sure, it's fine you hype your players up a bit, but the amount of misinformation and exaggeration used is becoming really annoying... That's what hype is at it's core. Like I said, I'm fine with a bit of hype. On the other hand, it has to be at least somewhat close to reality. I mean, sure, Life is going good, but winning 2 tournaments is not "The sickest winning streak". Winning IEM Taipei he didn't make it look easy as he almost fucking died trice. This is what bothers me about current day D9 as well. Constantly spreading misinformation on performance and strategies. Like he doesn't stay in touch that closely to the scene anymore and just enjoys the tournament and moneys. Foreign casting really went backwards quite a bit since the latter parts of 2014 IMO.
