You put the pool 1 hex away from the hatch so that he queen is positioned to block lings/banes. You then rally drones 3 at a time from the main to the nat in semi-automated times to minimize damage while you get your own lings and spines at each base. I call it the Leenock defense because he used it at the beginnig of HotS to beat 4-5 Zergs who used the 10 pool bane to try to kill him.

Never liked that opener from Life, it definitely sometimes works but it seems reliant on micro mistakes from your opponent rather than good micro from whoever is executing it.

Nice to see HyuN close that game down nice and quick, rather than seeing a thirty minute game where the defender lets the failed aggressor catch back up and win.
