That game will eat your time. Never played the PS one version though. I had the PS One Version. Total classic of a game. That's like the only game where I honestly thought I was going to have to play through 10+ hours again because I fucked up and got stuck on a really hard part that tricks you into saving just before the battle...(those who beat it should know the fight I'm referencing..). I had it on my PSP, but I had the exact same experience. Sooooo annoying. I tried to win that fight so many times. :/
It's funny how uneven the difficulty is. One minute they throw you the hardest fucking fight in the game out of the blue, the next you get a particular character that makes the game a total cakewalk from there on.

different translations. I heard neither are actually that accurate funnily enough so its just a preference thing. The PS one version had better loading times, but less features.

Made similiar experiences with the advance one, you play and play and it's a piece of cake, suddenly game over and you didn't save for 3 hours...
