you need a fast roach speed to play like nerchio was playing on foxtrot. i think he should have pooled more lings whole going lair and tried to delay the army and bait forcefields while sacrificing mining, then make a big swell of roaches and try to defend until speed. but even that would have been very difficult

Nerchio does constantly seem to get away with fast hydras because of Naniwa's reluctance to go for fast Collosi, he has a window before any AoE is available.
