I wouldn't have criticized the times if they were not all exactly the same. The real issue is that if people work a job around these times on East/Central/Mountain then it directly favors the Pacific time zone due to simple scheduling. If someone cannot make one of these times on East coast for one week chances are they will not be able to make it for the other week either. This could have very, very easily been alleviated with either a weekend setup or simply alternating times on the next week to later in the day. It's simply poor planning and there isn't really any justifiable excuse imo.

On the other end I find 6pm very late in the day and annoying, wish we could have week end early afternoons qualifiers

wait, so is WCS using season 3 map pool or the 2015 season 1 map pool? so confusing
|
There must be a mistake, pretty sure top 4 should qualify for challenger. That's how it's done for the EU spots, which are also ran by ESL, and also for the WCS unified. And ew these maps some more.

It says quite clearly, its season 3 map pool again. But it makes no sense O_O What can possibly be so wrong with the season 1 maps? And what is the point of releasing a new map pool if its not going to be used? I hope its a mistake

However, I do agree that it seems quite odd to state that they're releasing a brand new map pool and then saying the tournament will be on the old maps. wut

The qualifiers will use the old map pool so the pros arent forced to play the new maps which arent even finished yet. And the premier Tournament itself will then use the new map pool. That is at least how I understood it

Lol Blizzard is so scared to use the new map pool. If they aren't able to make a map at least bug-free in ten days, then they shouldn't make maps at all. Also why do you have stupid laws Germany, poor Arium )': edit : why is this titled "WCS AM" btw? It's just WCS now, right?

According to the Battle.net post a couple months ago regarding the 2015 WCS season, players in each region must also be playing under identifiable names. There are over 30 barcodes on NA GM, with other regions (Korea) exceeding 90% barcode population. Will there be a name change offered before qualifiers take place? It would be quite drastic to not include these individuals.

Blizzard stated that the new maps are still WIP that needs additional testing and tuning, I would not use those in a formal tournament either.

Looks like plenty of great entertainment coming up! I don't like the challenger Bo5 format much tbh, but the qualifiers look exiting!

Qualifiers have been adjusted to Top 4 of each tournament qualify into Challenger. Sorry for late response but had to verify some things.
