2015 WCS Season 1/Qualifier/AmericaWCS is back! Following the recent changes to the WCS point, prize and residency system viewable here, we are looking for the American participants in the all new WCS 2015 Premier League.

In order to be one of the 8 players from the American/Canadian region, players will first have to qualify for the WCS 2015 Season 1 AM Challenger. Starting in January, ESL will be hosting the online qualifiers for said Challenger, which will determine the 16 initial contestants for the regional Premier League slots.
So if you think you got what it takes, then sign up for our qualifiers! But make sure to check over our guidelines below, to see whether you are eligible to participate. All players that advance past the first round will receive a WCS Gosu Trophy in-game portrait!
Restrictions
- You must be a resident in the United States or Canada
- You must be an American or Canadian citizen (passport) or have a valid visa for your country of residence.
- You must be ranked Master or above on America in the current season.
- You must be age 16 or older.
- Map pool will be the same as Season 3 of 2014.
- Top 4 of each qualifier advance to WCS AM Challenger

Best of 3 in ALL ROUNDS!
In Best of 3 a map veto (removal and pick) system is used. The high seeded player(seeds can be found at round 1 on the grid page) decides who starts. Players take it in turn removing maps until only 3 maps remain in a best of 3. Then the player who vetoed first starts the map selection first. Maps are played in order they are picked. The remaining map is played last.
