herO actually played vs the style quite well for a bit there with harassment via proxy pylons and the warp prisms. At the end of the day Snute was way more fast and mobile with this style than most, and was able to hold on. Then herO just bashed his face into Snute's unbreakable wall til he died

Because people aren't watching, I don't think there's any overarching and important reason

I enjoyed Hot6ix Cup a lot more, it was more about the players, they had pre-recorded videos of the players trash-talking each other and stuff which was really fun. I'm starting to hate how much IEM and Dreamhack focus on the casters and hosts, and judging by viewer counts other people might agree with me.

I think more people are watching IEM than watched Hot6ix Cup though

Has to do with timing but yeah both tournaments would get the same viewership if they were streamed independently at same time different weeks.

Everybody's too cynical. D:

I can understand why he uses swarm hosts and don't blame him for it, but it's still damn boring to watch liquid snooze.

Oh, it feels good! I just host it up and then I make more hosts. And if I see they don't make tempests, I make more hosts. And then I just relax on my Hosts Luxury Cruise Ship.

It seems Snute uses a lot more hydras in the midgame-late than most zergs, which makes him pretty mobile on creep to shut down harass.

True, but i find it quite impressive that herO is not really trying to prevent SH to come into play :/ or trying to go for the early kill
In PvZ the zerg can make the situation spire out of control but protoss can adept to the situation.

Better time, foreigner advantage, etc.

But a year ago we had around 50k for foreign tournaments and 10k for Korean tournaments. Now IEM's at 20k and Hot6ix Cup was at 15k.

all the recent foreign tournaments were 35-50k easily aswell. this is more uncomfortable times for europeans and relatively few fan favourites.

Still, I can't possibly be alone in wanting to see the games and players and not hear the same people talk for hours on end at every tournament when they're not even playing the game.

I'm surprised by that too. I mean he could try to play a bit like Stardust, who is probably the most successful Protoss against Snute

In addition, this is a busy time of year for a lot of young adults.

Indeed. I was going to write something like this. Snute managed to defend where many others would've crumbled. And then her0 just banged his head against the wall over and over again. He made absolutely no adjustments to his strategy.
Parting: Well, even I can make better maps than these.
