Agreed. Dear/Maru in 2013 is definitely equal to something like Zest/Taeja in 2014, but facing San as a Zerg is harder than Mvp was for JD at that point in time. I don't know about Life's public opinion though, personally I never truly count out Life for these types of tournaments because he's proven he can beat anyone if he's on point. JD didn't have the same aura, and actually lost pretty badly in the Season 3 finals and mostly had his silver surfer Cinderella story coming into Blizzcon.
