If it wasn't obvious, caster bashing is still not welcome on Teamliquid

He prefers Passionstone and other silly games over SC2, but SC2 is where the money is for him, so he does these events (and provides pretty average quality of casting IMO) because he is still popular from 2012.... Day9 is still a great host and play by play commentator, and he should be embracing it like his brother. Its only a problem if he is paired with someone like kaelaris, but imo he still does a good job if paired with a good analytic commentator like artosis, probably moonglade, ToD, qxc etc

It's not dislike of Day9, it's dislike of the fact that he is still given casting gigs when his performance is mediocre at best. There are other casters who are both more in tune with the game and very likely cheaper.

This is highly debatable and subjective, but I find both Rotterdam and especially Apollo far more knowledgable and entertaining. And a lot less fake hyping going on.

His PbP is excellent, but the analytical casting is just spouting rubbish at most points.
