Solar is actually the only zerg that comes to mind who would have been a better candidate for this ro16, who else do we have ? I am sad that taeja made it though, "hate" is a strong word and obviously over the top here, but i really don't like him, even if i am his biggest fan apparently What do you mean by "strong"? I'd argue that players like Soulkey, Solar, TRUE, Action(?), DRG, Roro, Snute, and maybe ByuL have both the mechanical skill, the strategic skills and the practice environment that make them "strong". Unless you mean "super strong", but then Protoss and Terrans don't have that much super strong players either Well i just wanted to point out that i can't think of any Zerg players who would have done better than the zerg players yesterday. Maybe you can replace them with Solar and TRUE, but that's about it imo. (and i am not sure if that would change much) Zerg lacks star players atm (soO, sure but he couldn't advance vs Taeja either..)

Why are you talking about this when Life is going to win Blizzcon?

I have a hunch that if Taeja makes it to the Ro4, Life will beat him. Does that make sense at all, considering how hard Taeja beat soO into the ground? Nope, not at all, but Life beating both San (who he has always struggled with) and Zest makes me feel that even if the raw skill he had in 2012 isn't there, he won't struggle as much with lackluster decision making as he has earlier this year. Obviously Taeja/Innovation are going to be insane opponents, but I'm more optimistic about that match-up (and I don't see San winning) than I was about Zest.

Only thing that could make this Blizzcon perfect was Polt advancing. Its OK though. All of these players are basically my favorites.
Bomber Classic San Taeja
Bomber Taeja
Taeja is your world champion! Oh the hype! A win here would make him the best SC2 player ever in my book. All those premiers + the big one before he retires. I hope he gets it.

And it's not a draw. It's a representation of the results in this year. If no other Zerg is here, than that is because they have done even worse than Life this year. It's not a coincidence that the race that has done by far the worst this year is the worst represented. There's much more to the state of a race than the mere amount of Premier wins it collected in a given year...
Yeah, to the state of the race, i.e. the chances to win. But when you want to measure how well a race has done, measuring how well a race has done is usually the best method. Not some discussion of how well they could have done with a little more luck. You just measure how well they actually did. And Zerg actually did by far the worst.

There were ups in his play in the last months? When, where? Isn't Life fully carried by his Ro4 GSL and that Dreamhack win, all from the start of the year?

Does anyone know if there is any news on what the Hot6ix Cup format will be?
They said it's going to be 16 player tournament, I'm really curious if they're going to use the BlizzCon's single elimination bracket format or if there is going to be a group stage.

Really exciting, everyone came really well prepared, even Jaedong and MC put up a great fight, would recommend you to watch VoDs.
Especially Classic vs Polt series

Classic is going to win.

Could someone make a concise post listing all of the recommended match polls from the previous thread? The OP wasn't updated before the thread got closed and there's no way I'm sifting through 1000+ pages.

Who is San? Some lanky protoss? LOL
Life will DESTROY San This isn' even controversial. It's a quick and easy.
