Is it any coincidence that for my money the European scene depth-wise is even more pronounced compared to NA? Scarlett and a few others aside it seems that EU has benefitted from a solid Korean contingent based in Europe and playing on the ladder.
For whatever reason you haven't seen the same in NA, is it really so unreasonably to actively intervene to try and create that kind of environment? Dayshi earlier was complaining about WCS EU where the Koreans live in Europe That's his opinion, I can't consume 100% of all SC content or speak for everyone, the impression I got is that foreign pros welcome a hefty Korean contingent on ladder/in their region for latency-free high level practice and it had a positive effect. The only ones I know that liked the Koreans coming over was Bunny and Snute? so the only foreigners that are actually good It makes sense. Imagine StarCraft as a toilet. To piss in the toilet, if male, you need the seat up. To shit in the toilet, or take a piss as Scarlett, you need the seat down. So 1v1's are a competition where one person is trying to piss in the toilet and one person is trying to shit in the toilet. Now if you're up against someone who's really good at dropping the seat, and you want to piss, you're never going to have a chance, and all the urine buildup inside you makes you really salty about all these newcomers who are trying to shit in your toilet. But if you're more or less on even terms, or a little bit behind, you actually welcome the opportunity to practice your strength by trying to hold the seat up while you take your piss and deny your opponent the ability to shit in the toilet.
