It's not this obvious since Jaedong actually gained a lot of points in foreign tournaments (so a lot more visibility than INno) and has a big fanbase. I'm actually not sure it was sarcasm, could very well not have been.

His year hasn't been bad. He won 2 tournaments and got 4 semi finals. That's only bad by Taeja's standards

Northcon was in 2013. Also, jd himself stated that he does not consider northcon (and probably does not consider wecg) premier events.
